Is it lime green paint my bedroom a mistake?
I want to paint my room lime green, but everybody says you should choose neutral colors for your bedroom, not bright, vivid colors. say the bright colors will keep you in the night and prevents sleep what confuses me because the lights are off and you would not be able to see walls. what do you think? nothing else in my room will be bright, just black and dark brown. I have doubts about me lime green, maybe yellow white or pale blue in place for a calming effect color?
The color is a tricky thing. You may like a specific color, but then to have a room learns that it can be overwhelming and alter the mood to say the least. My suggestion is to paint a wall opposite the windows. Live with it for a few days and if you can stand it, then paint another wall. Most of the rooms but only need one of the walls a bright color. Unless you are going to hang curtains to tone down green and other elements on the walls are not green, I suggest you stick to a wall.
