Greek Goddess

The Vigrinal vengeful goddesses of Mt. Olympus
Six goddesses ruled from Mt. Olympus according to the tales of classical mythology at the time. Hera is considered the queen of the Greek Gods, both the wife and sister of Zeus, according to Greek mythology. Greek mythology says the goddesses as protectors and handlers the feminine side of human existence. They are in control of love, fertility and the fruit of the earth. Just as the gods of Mt. Olympus are powerful, but imperfect which may possess great wisdom and be prone to rash decisions.
Hera
The goddess Hera was the wife of Zeus, both born of Cronus and Rhea. She was the goddess of women, marriage and childbirth. Greek mythology is ripe with stories of envy, mistrust and revenge enacted against the interests of Hera love romance with Zeus and the children who were fathered by her powerful, but the unfaithful husband. Heracles, son of Zeus and the mortal we lift, was just one of many to incur the vengeful goddess' anger. Juno is the Roman representation of Hera.
Demeter
Born the second daughter of Rhea and Cronus, Demeter was goddess of the land that feeds the soil. It sees him as the bearer "of the seasons. The central myth involving her daughter Persephone, who was abducted by Hades and forced to become his queen. Demeter was desolate and life stopped in their pain prevented the arrival of the seasons. Zeus was requested by the suffering of the people and the other deities Hermes and ordered return of Persephone from the underworld. Although it was returned to her mother, Hades had tricked him, and the State of destination Persephone had to spend four months each year as penance for eating pomegranate seeds that Hades had offered.
Aphrodite
She was the goddess of love, lust and sensuality and beauty was without equal. In Greek, her name translates to "last of the foam" and Greek mythology tells the story of how it was created after Cronus cut off Uranus' genitals and discarded in the ocean. The various versions of its origin suggest that she was the daughter of Zeus and Dione. Her stunning beauty is a source of concern among the gods, he believed it was inevitable that it would sink a total war in order to obtain their favor. Zeus resolved this by the beautiful goddess married to Hephaestus, god of blacksmiths, who was lame and unattractive, according to mythology Greek. This did little to dissuade his willingness to use her beauty to play with the hearts of gods and mortals. In Rome, Aphrodite was known as Venus. The most popular of Aphrodite statue is more commonly known as the Venus De Milo, but is perhaps the most popular of Greek art.
Artemis
Artemis was the daughter of Zeus and Leto mortal woman. She is the twin of Apollo God. Artemis was one of the virgin goddesses in Greek mythology. As the Virgin Huntress, her command over nature was absolute and gave birth to fertility to the lands of all who loved her. As the sister of Apollo, God of the Sun, which was connected to the moon. She identifies with the Roman goddess Diana.
Athena
Athena is another popular topic of Greek art. One of the most famous works is a Greek Bust of Athena Goddess 4th century found in the Lourve, Paris. Tales of the origin of Athena vary, but generally agree that she is the daughter of Zeus and Metis, consort Titan of the king of the gods. In the original story more was said, Zeus, fearing that the prophecy that claimed mixed descendants "may be more powerful than he swallowed the whole Titan goddess. Athena was raised in the interior of Zeus by his mother and one day came the king of the gods head shaped like a woman armed for battle. She was the goddess of knowledge and wisdom that taught women to sew and knit and men to tend the land, and metal. She is a of the three virgin goddesses along with Artemis and Hestia. She was the patroness of the city of Athens and the Parthenon was built in his honor.
Hestia
eldest daughter of Cronus and Rhea, was one of the three virgin goddesses along with Athena and Hera. Poseidon and Apollo both wanted her hand in marriage, but she remained faithful to the vow of chastity made to Zeus. Hestia was the favorite goddess of the Greek people who loved his gentle spirit and virtue. Hestia spent his life on Mount Olympus, not to participate in wars and conflicts who occupied the other gods. She was the only god that is worshiped in all churches, regardless of their affiliation to a specific god.
