How much does a flight attendant make a year?
I rarely took days off at all. How much money do a 18 his first year as a flight attendant? Please post. Thank you.
I've been a flight attendant for 5 years and I can honestly say that the pay is very low. Lines carriers usually start around $ 16,000 to $ 18,000 a year (more or less!) and is hard work the first few years not only pay but will also be on stand-by for quite some time. That means you do not have a fixed schedule, but will only call for a ride if needed. You also get diet for each hour of its distance from its base and helps to offset the cost of food and other things while in scales. If you chose to travel and flew to the days would not do a little more money, but it is very easy to burn that way. But if you live with roommates or parents, have peaks very little, and live at their air base can be done. Your payment will increase each year you are employed, but not by much. That said, is an incredible job and I love it! The benefits are great, and very funny. I had a trip to Paris last week and was in Japan last month. Do not let the paying off of a really great opportunity. To me, it's totally worth it! Good luck!
