Just heard the song on the radio, he has "black vevet that slow southern style" as one of the lines in the choir. Sounds like an old man Who sang this and still perform?
Recorded by Alannah Myles in 1989 (but written by Canadian musicians David Tyson and Christopher Ward.) The song is actually Elvis Presley – the title is taken from a famous black velvet jacket that Elvis used to wear.
